new skids!
June 7th, 2008 by MikeOJeremy’s done it again! In my latest order from “the school” I got a set of their new skids. This was a few weeks ago and they’re holding up very well. they’re nice and slick for spacewalks and are wearing much slower that the older formula. And the new color is just hardcore. J. also threw on some stainless steel skid hardware which i really like. They aren’t going to be wearing away like the old ones.

Cool skid pads. But I will give you guys a hint the best skid plate and rail screws are Dry wall screws. Just screw the screw in from the top with a mikita drill with a phillips screw bit. After it down tight just take a pair of pliers and grip the point of the screw sticking out and break off the tip.
File the broken screw flat so it will not cut your hand.
I learned this trick from Dave Crabb never had a loose skid plate ever again.
